Climate Support Groups

Feel and heal in community

Many people find climate distress an isolating experience - no one around them wants to talk about the fear, anger, or despair that climate catastrophe can evoke. Yet we are social creatures, and sharing our difficult emotional experiences with one another can be profoundly healing.

From community Climate Cafés to online support groups, you can find my recommendations and my own offerings below.

Other Recommended Groups

The Good Grief Network’s “10 Steps to Resilience & Empowerment in a Chaotic Climate”

The Good Grief Network runs online support groups for anyone struggling with climate-related distress. These skilfully facilitated groups provide space for connection, transformation, and empowerment. I have been a participant and a facilitator many times, and credit GGN’s 10-Steps for my own ability to be with the challenges of our time. Highly recommended!
