Collaborative
I take a compassionate, collaborative, and consent-based approach to counselling. You are an expert on your life, I am an expert in psychology and mental health, and together we will find your path to living a full, rich, and meaningful life.
Mindful
Building awareness of how our thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations influence our behaviour requires presence and mindfulness. I help clients develop mindfulness-based skills to increase their autonomy in daily life.
Evidence-Based
I prioritize evidence-based therapies that have undergone rigorous scientific study. The approaches I use most are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
